Daytona Beach, FL - He's accused of committing a serious crime less than an hour after leaving Volusia County Jail, but it took the Sheriff's Office nearly a month to put an 18-year-old Orlando man back in a jumpsuit.

Christian Guillen's arrest Wednesday comes six days after Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood featured him as the "Scumbag Of The Week" on VCSO's Facebook page.

Guillen was wanted for stealing several items from an employee's vehicle parked at the Stewart Marchman Act facility near the county jail on May 27th, including a nine-millimeter handgun, over 400 of ammunition and $300 in cash.

Detectives tell us Guillen had bonded out on burglary and grand theft auto charges just before the vehicle break-in at Stewart-Marchman.

Daytona Beach police found Guillen in the city on Wednesday and took him into custody on a warrant for burglary and grand theft of a firearm.
