Deltona, FL - A Deltona woman was booked into Volusia County Jail today for allegedly attacking a 13-year-old boy and encouraging her 4 daughters to do the same.
36-year-old Shawnte Jones is facing charges of child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of minors for her role in Friday's incident on Courtland Ave.
Investigators say 2 of Jones' daughters punched the boy as he rode his bike because he was blocking the sidewalk, then Jones and her 2 older daughters came and joined in - punching and kicking the boy.
He was brought to the hospital with several injuries and suffered a concussion.
