VCSO: Osteen Man Threatened DeBary Homeowner With Stun Gun

DeBary, FL - Two months after a DeBary man was robbed by stun gun in his own home, Volusia County deputies make an arrest in the case.

36-year-old Jesse Adkins of Osteen was arrested last night, according to the Sheriff's Office. He's currently held on $75,000 bond at the county jail on an armed robbery charge.

VCSO thinks Adkins and a Deltona woman - identified as 29-year-old Stephanie Campaign (most recent mugshot below) - used a key to get into the residence at 117 Angeles Road around 2 a.m. on March 17th and banged on the victim's bedroom door until he opened it.

Once that happened, Adkins went inside, held a stun gun to the victim's face and accused him of threatening to beat up someone he knew, according to VCSO spokesperson Laura Williams.

"Adkins threatened to beat him in retaliation," Williams added. "The victim refuted the claims and then Adkins instead demanded to know where his 'stash' was."

Adkins and Campaign left the home after he took the victim's cell phone, wallet, a blue pocket knife and a jar with 3 or 4 grams of cannabis inside.

Campaign is still wanted in connection to this crime, according to VCSO spokesperson Andrew Gant. She's facing a principal to robbery with a weapon charge and has been booked at Volusia County Jail at least eight times in the past, most recently in August 2016.
