Earlier Reporting: VCSO have identified the suspect who robbed a Kangaroo gas station early Thursday morning in Deltona as 24-year-old Dennes Guitierrez-Fernandez. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Guitierrez-Fernandez was identified by fingerprints left behind on the stick-up note he passed to the 28-year-old female clerk on duty at the gas station. In that note he demanded money and threatened to shoot the clerk if she didn't follow his orders. The clerk said she didn't see a gun during the robbery, but Guitierrez-Fernandez kept his hands in a jacket pocket which had a bulge showing what looked like the grip of a gun. She was afraid for her life so the clerk handed over the drawer from the cash register. Guitierrez-Fernandez grabbed money then fled the store, leaving behind the note. Guitierrez-Fernandez is facing charges of armed robbery and written threats to kill or do bodily injury.
