Deltona, FL – Deputies are searching for two men who shoved a woman and snatched her purse while she was loading groceries into her car at the Publix located at 2100 Saxon Boulevard in Deltona.

Shortly before 6 p.m Monday, the victim noticed two men in a passenger car park next to her vehicle. The victim told Volusia County Sheriff's deputies that one of the males suddenly jumped out of the car, shoved her and took her purse. Her purse held multiple credit cards, her driver's license, cash and an iPhone.

The victim said that as the suspects' vehicle started to move, the man who committed the strong-arm robbery jumped in and fled the scene. Law enforcement was called immediately.

Several sheriff's deputies and the sheriff's Air One helicopter responded to the area to search for the vehicle; however, search efforts were not successful.
