VCSO: 1 Man Shot To Death In Deltona, Search Is On For 2 Suspects

Deltona, FL - The Volusia County Sheriff's Office (VCSO) is searching for 2 suspects who fled the scene of a fatal shooting in Deltona on Saturday, said deputies.

The VCSO received several 911 calls just after noon with reports of a shooting in the 2300 block of Fountain Road. Deputies arrived about 4 minutes later.

According to the VCSO, upon arrival, the victim, Brian Walsh, 40, was found in the backyard of his residence on Fountain Road. He had been shot multiple times and he was breathing but unconscious. Walsh was transported by ambulance to Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City, Saturday, March 11, where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses at the residence said the suspects fled in a black-colored Dodge Dart, said deputies.
