New Report Ranks Daytona In Top 10 Of Best Places To Move To

Daytona Beach, FL – According to a new report, the Daytona Beach area is the seventh most popular place to move to in the country. 

In its list of the 25 Best Places People Are Moving to in 2018, U.S. News and World Report said migration to the Daytona Beach area grew 8.95% between 2012 and 2016. The coastal metro, which spans both Volusia and Flagler Counties, is home to 613,723 people. 

Other Florida metros that made the list include Jacksonville (#21), Tampa (#12), Melbourne (#10), Lakeland (#9), Port St. Lucie (#6), Orlando (#5), Sarasota (#3) and Fort Myers (#2). 

U.S. News and World Report also ranked the Daytona Beach area #94 in its list of the 125 Best Places to Live in the USA and #7 in its list of the 100 Best Places to Retire in the USA.
