U.S. Highway 1 Commercial Park In Bunnell Official, Construction To Begin Soon

Bunnell, FL - The U.S. Highway 1 Commercial Park project is officially moving forward.

After confidentiality due to pending property and construction loans, Beutlich Development, LLC is now able to announce that they are the owners of the property at the intersection of U.S. Highway 1 and Otis Stone Hunter Road in Bunnell. The project was brought to Flagler County Commissioners as Project Spec, but it has been revealed that a commercial park is being constructed.

“We’re excited to be investing in Flagler County. We’ve worked closely with the County’s Department of Economic Opportunity team and local professionals to ensure that once The U.S. Hwy 1 Commercial Park is constructed, the project will be something that we can all be proud of,” said developers Erlene Thomas and Jack Beutlich.

Construction will officially begin at the end of this year and leasing will be available early next year. The 20,000 square-foot facility is attracting tenants as it is located among a skilled local workforce with access to U.S. Highway 1 and Interstate 95. Leasing will be provided through Margaret Sheehan-Jones with Parkside Realty.

“This project exemplifies great economic development practices by creating a mutually beneficial public/private partnership. For years the business community has been lamenting the lack of much-needed industrial/commercial facilities for new and expanding businesses. Beutlich Development is investing in the growth of our community and setting the stage for new employment opportunities for our residents,” said Flagler County Commissioner and Chair of the Flagler Department of Economic Opportunity, Donald O’Brien.
