Palm Coast, FL - Flagler County Sheriff's Office arrested two teenage burglary suspects after a two-hour search in Palm Coast on Wednesday afternoon. A witness reported that two people dropped a wide-screen television and fled on foot near Brewster Lane in Palm Coast. The suspects were described as two male teenagers wearing dark clothing and hoods and bandanas covering their faces. They were reportedly driving in a silver Ford Focus. K-9 units and Flagler County's Fire Flight Emergency helicopter assisted in the search for the suspects. Indian Trails Middle School temporarily kept walkers and bike riders on campus until the police ended their search. No schools were placed on lock-down, and the walkers and bike-riders were released from Indian Trails just before 3 p.m. 18-year-old Eric Hayes and a 17-year-old boy were arrested and charged with burglary, grand theft  and resisting arrest without violence. Hayes also had an active warrant in another county. “Our agency did a great job in tracking these subjects and taking them into custody without any injuries,” Flagler Sheriff Rick Staly says. “If you’re going to run from us, you’re just going to go to the Green Roof Inn tired, which they did. We also thank Fire Flight for their assistance.” Hayes's mugshot courtesy Flagler County Jail.
