Men Wanted For Taking Over $20,000 In Clothes From Tanger Store

Daytona Beach, FL - Two men and a suitcase are all it took to steal over $20,000 in clothes from a Tanger Outlets store a few weeks ago.

Now the Daytona Beach Police Department want your help to track those men down.

Managers in the Vineyard Vines store discovered the theft two days after it happened on July 14th thanks to an inventory check, according to the incident report.

It all took place around 4:30 that day in the performance clothing section and the men used the heavy crowd inside the store at the time as cover to sneak in and out without being noticed by workers, per detectives.

Security video footage shows it took the men around 20 minutes to take all that gear and that one of the men apparently scouted the store out before calling the other on a cell phone to bring the suitcase.

That footage also shows neither man went to the register before walking out of the store at least twice with items they didn't pay for, according to the report.

Both suspects are described as Hispanic men. One of them is believed to be around 30 to 40 years of age with black hair and brown eyes, standing around 5'9 and weighing between 150 to 180 pounds. The other is thought to be between 20 to 28 years old with black hair and eyes, standing around 5'6 and weighing between 140 to 150 pounds.

DBPD hasn't released the video to the media but did release photos of the suspects. That's posted above this article.
