Four Alarm Fire Breaks Out At New Smyrna Beach Storage Facility

New Smyrna Beach, FL-Crews were on the scene just before 730 AM today for a fire that broke out and quickly grew to four alarms at Storquest Self Storage at 1375 Pioneer Trail in New Smyrna Beach.

Crews were working to contain the blaze which sent plumes of black smoke billowing into the air. Smoke was visible along busy SR 44 nearby. NSB City Public Information Officer Anna Hackett says the fire was reported as a two-alarm blaze. Trucks and crews responding included New Smyrna Beach, Volusia County, Edgewater and Port Orange. The State Fire Marshal is investigating. 30 units burned in the fire. There are about 80 units on the property. No injuries reported.
