Daytona Beach, FL – Temperatures this week will be running about 10 degrees above normal for this time of year. Daytona Beach today tied a high-temperature record of 89 set in 1985. The record high for Tuesday is 91 set in 1971.
According to Tony Cristaldi from the National Weather Service in Melbourne, temperatures through this week will be 5 to 10 degrees above average for March. Afternoon highs will be in the mid to upper 80s all week long.
Rain chances will stay pretty low until this weekend when temperatures will finally start dropping back into the 70s.
