Suspect In New Years Eve Daytona Beach Fatal Shooting Arrested In NY

black male handcuffs Daytona Beach, FL - Almost a year after the fatal shooting at the Biarritz Club in Daytona Beach that left 2 men dead, a 2nd suspect has been arrested in New York. 40-year-old Andre Lenard Mayo was arrested on Tuesday, December 6th, 2016, in Brooklyn, NY, on 2 1st-degree murder charges. He was wanted by Daytona Beach Police for the murders of Kevin M. Stanley and Abel Morel in a shooting that happened on December 31, 2015. Mayo tried to run away from law enforcement officers, but was found in a closet hiding under some clothes. He was taken into custody by the US Marshal's NY/NJ Fugitive Task Force and will be extradited back to FL to face charges. The other suspect in this case, Anthony Dawson, is already in custody. mayo-2013
