Ormond Beach, FL - A man who reportedly molested a young girl was also found to have in excess of 100 child pornography images on his phone.
That's according to the Ormond Beach Police Department following the arrest of 39-year-old Benjamin Worster.
Their report says that a mother, who has been friends with Worster for four years, told police that on December 16th, 2018, that Benjamin had touched her daughter, according to what he daughter told her.
Both the mother and her daughter lived with Worster at his apartment off Hand Avenue.
On December 17th, when Worster didn't get up for work, she went in to check on him and found him unresponsive and foaming at the mouth.
She called 911 and Worster was EVAC'd to Florida Hospital Memorial Center.
Back at his apartment, she found Worster's phone, which had no passcode, and remembered her daughter telling her about being touched by Worster, so she decided to check the phone.
As she looked through the phone, she phone text messages between Worster and someone else that concentrate on the attraction Worster has with the woman's daughter.
The messages began on December 6th, 2018 and they talked about Worster "grooming" the child to get her comfortable with him for future sex acts.
After police arrived and interview the woman, they took the phone into evidence and on December 19th, a search warrant would be issued.
The following day, the search warrant was executed and the phone was sent to Daytona Beach Police Department's cyber unit for data extraction.
Their search found in excess of 100 images of child pornography on his phone, all involving young females.
Police had also found text messages between Worster and another person, engaging in text messages on the "grooming" he had planned.

Worster had also mentioned investing in small spy cameras for changing as bath times, as well as using an anonymous browser to research things that will safely make kids pass out for a couple of hours.
On December 26th, another search warrant was obtained for computers, storage devices, cellphones and photographs for his residence.
The search warrant, which was executed the next day, found almost 100 pages of pornographic drawings and cartoons, seven cellphones, around 125 CD's and DVD's, a USB thumb drive, a camera, one laptop, one desktop and three routers.
These items are still being processed for additional charges.
It was also on the 27th that Worster's brother reported that other electronics were missing and possibly stolen from his apartment. That theft is still being investigated by OBPD.
That same day, the victim was interviewed by a case coordinator with the University of Florida First Coast Child Protection Team.
When asked about "Ben's electronics," the child made an "ugly face" at investigators, hinting that she didn't like something.
When asked what was wrong, she told detectives that she "did not like Ben." She then shook her head back and forth and said no. When asked why she didn't like Ben, she said because Ben "touched her cucu."
Later that day, detectives would meet Worster at Halifax Hospital where he was being treated for the incident that happened back on December 17th.
Worster was asked about the lewd behavior against the daughter and the theft of some of his electronics. He responded to detectives that "I just want to cooperate."
Worster denied ever touching her. When asked about the text conversations, Worster said that he could understand how it might be misunderstood, but that "there was nothing to it, it was just foreplay" between him and the recipient.
He said that he would text and talk like that to them in order to get them "worked up" and that they would come over and "hook up"
Then, on January 18th, 2019, Worster was taken into custody and was charged with lewd and lascivious behavior on a child, molestation and 21 counts of child pornography possession.
Jail records show that Worster is still in custody and is being held without bond at Volusia County Jail. Court records also show that Worster is set to be arraigned on February 13th.
