Daytona Beach, FL-Police have charged 25-year-old Moses Leon Richardson IV in the hit and run accident that killed a motorcyclist August 19 in Daytona Beach. The biker, 27-year-old Craig Devine of Daytona Beach, died of his injuries at the hospital after his bike was hit at 500 South Atlantic Avenue around 9:20 PM. Richardson, police say, was driving without a valid FL license at the time of the accident and left the scene. Witnesses say Richardson was driving a 2003 BMW at a high rate of speed when he turned left at Goodall Avenue in front of a group of motorcycles going southbound. That's when the police report says he hit the bike being ridden by Devine. Devine was ejected off the bike about 50 feet by the force of the impact. Police say Richardson got out of the vehicle and was chased on foot from the scene.  The man chasing Richardson reportedly got a look at him before Richardson was able to break free and run from the area. The female passenger in the BMW was questioned by police. That man who chased Richardson was able to pick him out of a photo lineup as the man who ran from him. Richardson is held at the jail on no bond.
