Record-Breaking Early Voting Wraps Up Here

Volusia County, FL – Supervisor of Elections Lisa Lewis says Volusia County has set new records for early voting as it wrapped up Saturday.

As of November 5th, 2016, 71,422 people voted by mail here and 97, 939 voted early. Tuesday is Election Day.

As of November 4th, 2016, 70,771 people have voted by mail in the county and 87,965 have voted early. Compare that to the previous presidential election (2012) when 64,804 residents voted by mail and 60,430 voted early, total. In 2008, a total of 52,781 Volusia residents voted by mail and 68,630 of them voted early.
