FL Students Going Back To School Will Get “Lesson” On Zika Virus

Tallahassee, FL-State officials are sending curriculum materials on the Zika virus to all public schools in Florida as students go back for the new school year.

Florida Education Commissioner Pam Stewart says her department has been working with state health officials on the material for teachers which will include information on how to keep from getting the mosquito-borne virus. Stewart says the material being shared are “aligned with Florida standards”.

The material is also going to colleges and universities in Florida.
