New Smyrna Beach, FL - The New Smyrna Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing student who lives in New Smyrna and has not been heard from since Monday.

24-year-old Zachary Asufra Taylor is a current student at University of Central Florida Orlando campus, but he lives in our area. He does have a medical condition, according to police, and there is concern that his health is at risk.

The last contact he has had with his family was a text on July 10, and there has been no activity on his cell phone since. Taylor is believed to have been in Jacksonville or Bunnell at the time. He has left unannounced before, but only for two to three days, according to police.

Taylor is thought to be driving a 2015 black Honda Civic with tag number EETS45. Anyone with any information is asked to call the New Smyrna Beach Police Department at 386-424-2220.
