DeLand, FL - One of Volusia County's most historic homes gets national love for the way it celebrates Christmas.
USA Today's "10Best Holiday Home Tour" places the Stetson Mansion 5th in the country and tops in Florida.
Stetson Mansion spokesman Michael Solari says he's grateful for the "tremendous outpouring of love and support" from the community which made the ranking possible.
"Kindness was given back to us ten-fold," Solari added.
Those who want to see this year's holiday display have until January 15. After that, Solari says, it comes down until Christmas returns.
"Those of you that come to our home know that the "Christmas Spectacular" is not a "Holiday Tour" or a history tour like it used to be," Solari noted. "It is, all in, simply an elaborate birthday celebration for Christ. There is a reason why 24 nativities from all around the world are present."
The mansion's regular "Past and Present" tour resumes February 2.
