Spring Breakers Arrested For Stealing Beach Safety Jet Ski

ski 1 Daytona Beach, FL-Two spring breakers from Virginia were charged today with stealing a Beach Safety jet ski and taking it for a joyride in Daytona Beach. County Beach Safety Ocean Rescue Captain Tammy Marris says just before 5 pm a jet ski attendant was having mechanical issues and beached the ski in the area of 300 N on the beach in Daytona Beach.  That's when two men took the ski and rode it south to the area of the Main Street pier. Officers followed along on the beach. The suspects beached the ski and tried to run. They were caught and taken into custody. Charged are 22-year-old James D. Duffey and 21-year-old Andrew A. Gentry.
