DeLand, FL - The City of DeLand is expecting several road closures this weekend due to special events.
Saturday, April 8 - Songwriters Showcases of America will be holding the DeLandapalooza Music Festival in Downtown DeLand. East Indiana Avenue will be closed from 6 PM Friday to early Sunday morning. West Indiana Avenue and West Georgia Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from 6 AM to 12 AM Sunday. DeLand Police will be on-site. For more information go to www.ssa.cc.
Saturday, April 8 - St. Annis Primitive Baptist Church will be holding a community cookout on W. Division Street from S. Orange Avenue to just past the church grounds from 10 AM to 3 PM. DeLand PD will be onsite. For more information please call the church office at (386) 734-3364.
Sunday, April 9 - MainStreet DeLand Association will be holding the Majestics Car Show on E. Indiana Avenue, Parking Lot 7 and the parking garage from 8 AM to 6 PM. East Indiana Avenue will be closed from 6 AM to 7 PM. For more information on the event contact MainStreet DeLand at 386-738-0649.
