Sleep Inn Motel On Williamson Blvd In Ormond Beach Robbed At Gunpoint

Ormond Beach, FL - Police in Ormond Beach are investigating Thursday's armed robbery of the Sleep Inn Motel on Williamson Blvd. According to the Ormond Beach Police Department, an unidentified black man went into the lobby of the Sleep Inn at 12:50 AM on Thursday, December 7, wearing a black ski mask, a black long sleeve shirt, and black sweatpants. The suspect went up to the clerk at the front desk and pointed a gun at him, then ordered the clerk to give him the money from the register. After he got the money, the suspect then ran out into the parking lot, got into a silver four-door car, and left the area. Witnesses described the suspect as being between 5'11" and 6'2" tall, and weighing between 230 and 250 pounds.
