"Shrine" Found In Triple Murder Suspect Toledo's Cell

Posted
jail cell Volusia County, FL- Corrections officials and investigators say a shakedown at the jail where triple murder suspect Luis Toledo is being held uncovered what appears to be some sort of shrine to his alleged victims. Toledo is charged with the murders of his wife and her two small children in Deltona in October 2013. The bodies have never been found. The cell-to-cell shakedown found the items in the corner of the cell. The corrections report says what was found is  "some form of ritualistic, possibly Santeria." The story from News13.com is here. The start of the trial was delayed when the US Supreme Court declared the Florida death penalty process as unconstitutional. A new date has not been set.
