Shots Fired In Flagler... Because Of A Tax Refund

flagler county sheriffs car 2 Flagler County, FL - A Bunnell man is in jail after he allegedly beat a man and then shot at him after an argument over a tax refund. Flagler County Sheriff's deputies arrested 19-year-old Steve Boursiquot of 142 Espanola Rd. on Monday night and have charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery. Around 8 PM on Monday deputies were called to Espanola Rd. and County Road 205 where witnesses said several people beat 33-year-old Napoleon Lorick and a shot was fired at him after a confrontation over a $2,832 tax refund owed to Boursiquot's girlfriend. Lorick, of 72 Espanola Road, told deputies that he was punched by Boursiquot and another man. As he ran away he saw Boursiquot with a gun and heard at least one gunshot fired in his direction. According to deputies, Lorick had visible injuries on his lower back, a swollen ankle, and he was complaining of an injured hand. Boursiquot was arrested and taken to Flagler County jail. His bail has been set at $6,000. Lorick was arrested on an unrelated warrant from Volusia County for possession of marijuana. STEVE BOURSIQUOT MUG
