Flagler County, FL - An Orange Park man was killed this morning when his car was rear-ended by a semi on I-95 in Flagler County.

63-year-old Olando Ellis was sitting in his 2005 Mercedes S420, stopped in the outside lane of I-95 SB near Matanzas Woods Pkwy at around 3:12 AM. 55-year-old Edson Da Silva of Orlando was heading south in the same lane, driving a semi-truck. He wasn't able to see Ellis' disabled vehicle because the lights weren't on, and he ended up rear-ending the Mercedes.

The truck overturned and slid through the guardrail in the median. The overturned tractor trailer ended up blocking a total of 4 lanes of I-95 - 2 southbound and 2 northbound.

Ellis was pronounced dead at the scene. Da Silva didn't suffer any significant injuries.
