Suspect Nabbed Quickly In Deltona SunTrust Armed Robbery

Deltona, FL-Update: Deputies made quick work of catching the suspect in the Monday afternoon armed robbery of a bank in Deltona. The suspect charged in the SunTrust robbery is 36-year-old Nicholas Landolfi. Deputies say Landolfi covered a tattoo on his arm but couldn’t as easily hide his height, 6 foot 6 inches. Crime Center analysts were able to track him down. Tips also came in from the public helping to identify Landolfi.

Earlier reporting-The second bank robbery of the day in west Volusia County happened at the SunTrust Bank in Deltona just before 4 P.M.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office describes the suspect as a tall, white male wearing a gray shirt, white hat and sunglasses. He was armed with a handgun. VCSO reports that he escaped the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
