New Smyrna Beach, FL - Update: The Volusia County Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed that the body that was found on April 20 about a mile offshore of Ponce Inlet belongs to Hezekiah Whyte, the 8-year-old boy who went missing in New Smyrna Beach on April 15.
The family has been notified.

Volusia County Beach Safety Ocean Rescue is continuing to search for an 8-year-old boy still missing after disappearing in the surf on Saturday.
According to WFTV-9 News, Sunday, April 16, officials report that Air One is on scene and the U.S. Coast Guard is aiding in the search by boat and helicopter.
Volusia County Ocean Rescue will also have jet skis in the water and will continue the search throughout the day.
The boy disappeared south of the jetties in New Smyrna Beach.
