New Smyrna Beach, FL- The opening of the new Brannon Center in New Smyrna Beach will be marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday evening. Leisure Services Director Nancy Maddox said that the project finished ahead of schedule and on-budget.

Maddox said that inside is a large open space of about 7500 square feet. The grand ballroom can be partitioned off for smaller events. Maddox said the east side of the building facing the water is all windows with a 7,500 square foot terrace to maximize the river view.  There’s also an outdoor green space on the south side of the building.

Tuesday’s ribbon-cutting event begins at 5 P.M. Maddox said that food and refreshments will be served after the ribbon-cutting at the Brannon Center. She said people will be able to tour the facility.
