Daytona Beach, FL - The Halifax Humane Society is offering a total of $1,000 for the return a missing puppy who was taken during a carjacking in Daytona Beach last week. The missing puppy is a 6-month-old terrier mix named Luna. She was with her owner in the parking lot of the Dollar General, located at 825 W. International Speedway in Daytona, at around 12:35 PM last Thursday. The dog's owner was approached by a man and woman who asked her for a ride. The owner agreed and drove the couple to several locations, but she later got nervous and told the couple she couldn't drive them anymore. You can read more here. The couple ended up wrapping a dog leash around the woman's neck and dragging her out of the car. They took off with the car and the puppy inside. If you have any information about Luna’s whereabouts, please call Halifax Humane Society at 386-274-4703 or 386-671-5113. The Humane Society adds that no questions will be asked.
