Daytona Beach, FL – ONE DAYTONA developer, International Speedway Corporation (ISC), has announced that the redevelopment construction of the shopping center at Volusia Point has begun to make way for the Shoppes At ONE DAYTONA.

ONE DAYTONA is a 300,000-square-foot shopping, entertainment, residential and dining district. Officials are demolishing the building in the southeast corner of the Volusia Point property to construct a more “modernized space.” Video of Tuesday’s demolition can be found here. The construction features new building façades, storefronts, pylon signage, parking lots, and a centralized connector to ONE DAYTONA.

“We are pleased to begin construction on the redevelopment project,” said Vice President of Corporate Development for ISC, Jeff Boerger. “Shoppes at ONE DAYTONA will be part of the ONE DAYTONA campus and will provide both residents and visitors even more dining, shopping and service options.”

The developer also announced several new tenants. The tenants include the new-to-market, 3,500 square-foot First Watch, The Daytime Café.  Zen Nails, AT&T, Dahlia Mexican Kitchen, and Fantastic Sams (opened March 2017) are also listed as new tenants. Additional businesses will be announced as leases are established.
