Palm Coast, FL - The driver arrested by the Flagler County Sherrif for driving over 100 mph on I-95 two weeks ago has been arrested again for fleeing the scene of a crash. Jacob Reardon, 19, was arrested on December 21 after Flagler Sheriff Rick Staly noticed his reckless driving on multiple Flagler County roadways. He told Staly that he was speeding to “to get home to let his dogs out.” Reardon was charged with reckless driving and possession of marijuana under 20 grams. More on that story can be found here. On Thursday, deputies responded to Birchwood Drive in Palm Coast for a call regarding a white Mustang driving recklessly. The Flagler County Sheriff's Office said the vehicle hit a driveway culvert and became airborne, damaging a nearby parked car and fire hydrant in the process.

Witnesses advised deputies that they took pictures of a male and female running from the car following the crash. The owner of the car was contacted and she told deputies that her son, Jacob Reardon, was currently driving the car. Reardon was asked back to the scene and was arrested upon his arrival. The female passenger was taken to the hospital by her family for non-life-threatening injuries. Reardon is now charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and leaving the scene of an accident with injury. Cocaine was found inside Reardon's wallet before he was taken to jail and a cocaine possession charge has since been brought against him. “Two weeks ago I arrested him for driving recklessly, but I guess he didn’t learn his lesson,” said Staly. “Now he’s taking another ride to the Green Roof Inn. I hope he gets the drug help he needs and the courts throw the book at him before he seriously hurts or kills someone.”
