Flagler Schools Strategic Steering Committee Town Hall Meeting

Flagler County, FL- Parents and residents of Flagler County are invited to a series of town hall meetings to add their input to the Flagler Schools Strategic Plan. Jason Wheeler, Flagler Schools Communications Specialist said the Steering Committee has been working on the next five-year plan and now it's time to hear from the community. Every five years the school district evaluates the strategic plan. It's a requirement of the AdvancED accreditation process. This committee is made up of representatives from the community as well as Flagler Schools with guidance from the Florida Department of Education. Wheeler said the general public has been invited to observe the meetings but now they will have a chance to participate by sharing their ideas and concerns. The first meeting is Thursday at the Buddy Taylor Middle School/Wadsworth Elementary School cafeteria from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M. Additional meetings will be held. You can find the information on them by clicking here. The end result will be presented to the School Board on Tuesday, September 20th. Copyright Southern Stone Communications 2016.
