Port Orange To Hold Riverwalk Park Phase 1 Ribbon-cutting

Port Orange, FL-A milestone this evening for the Riverwalk Park project in Port Orange with a ribbon-cutting for Phase 1A. City spokesman Kent Donahue says this includes a kayak/canoe/paddleboard launch, a new boardwalk, and refurbishment of the existing fishing pier. It also includes a 12-foot-wide trailhead with a restroom facility, new lighting, landscaping, and irrigation. Phase 1A is located at the north end of Riverwalk Park. The event is open to the public and begins at 5:30 PM. Parking available at the Riverside Pavilion at 3431 Ridgewood Avenue.
