Port Orange Police Looking For Man Who Robbed BB&T Bank On Taylor Rd

Port Orange, FL - Police in Port Orange are looking for the man who robbed a BB&T Bank on Taylor Rd on Monday afternoon.

It was around 2:30 PM when a white man entered the bank at 1635 Taylor Rd and passed a note to the teller which said he was robbing the bank. He's been described as an older man with gray hair and facial hair. He was last seen wearing jeans, a dark long sleeved top, and a black baseball cap.

He got away on foot with an unknown amount of cash.

No weapon was seen or implied, and no one was hurt during the robbery.

When asked if there was any connection to a similar crime that happened recently in Daytona Beach, POPD Captain Scott Brozio said, "Our detectives are on scene working on this investigation and they are going to look into that possibility as well." To read about that robbery, click here.
