Port Orange Police Arrest A Man Who Robbed Regions Bank

Port Orange, FL - Update: The Port Orange Police Department obtained an arrest warrant late Thursday for 53-year-old Gregory W. Ozoniak, the suspect in the robbery of Regions Bank. At approximately 3:00 PM Friday, Ozoniak was  arrested by the Daytona Beach Police Department. Ozoniak is charged with robbery without a firearm or weapon. Earlier Reporting: The Port Orange Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place at a Port Orange Regions Bank Thursday morning. Shortly before 9:50 AM, the Regions Bank at 607 Dunlawton Ave. was robbed. The suspect is described as a white man, about 50 years old, with short, dark hair. He was wearing a green t-shirt and blue jean shorts. In the surveillance photos provided by the police department, the suspect does not appear to be armed. He entered the bank, demanded an undisclosed amount of money, and then left on foot. His whereabouts are unknown at this time. There are no reported injuries from the robbery, and more information will be released as it comes available.
