Port Orange Man Reports Burglary, Now Arrested For Drugs

Port Orange, FL- A Port Orange man who reported a break-in at his home in July is now in jail. A Port Orange Police officer was conducting a follow-up on the reported burglary at 22-year-old William Young's home on August 2. The officer could smell the odor of marijuana after knocking on the door. Young answered the door and quickly stepped outside, closing the door behind him.  The officer talked to Young and then left to get more officers and a search warrant. Drugs and paraphernalia were found in the house, including two hefty bags full of what tested positive for marijuana. Young was arrested along with his roommate, 23-year-old Caleb Wetherell. They face a multitude of charges.
