Port Orange Babysitter ‘Uncle Mikey’ Gets 25 Years In Prison For Molesting 5 Girls

Port Orange, FL – The 47-year-old Port Orange babysitter known as “Uncle Mikey,” who was accused of molesting and sexually assaulting five girls, was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Thursday.

Circuit Judge Terence Perkins designated Michael McCabe as a sexual predator for his offenses and sentenced the 47-year-old to 25 years of sex offender probation once he’s released from prison. McCabe previously pled no contest to four counts of sexual battery against a child between 12 and 18, two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation against a child between the ages of 12 and 16, and three counts of attempted lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under 12 years of age.

Assistant State Attorney Andrew Urbanak prosecuted the case, which was presided over by Circuit Judge Perkins, who also pronounced sentencing.
