Port Orange, FL – The Port Orange Police Department (POPD) is offering free women’s self-defense classes.

The next class is March 21st from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the POPD, 4545 Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange.

This class will teach women how to protect and defend themselves in the event of a crime. The certified instructors will help women learn multiple tactics and other information that could be helpful in those situations.

While there is limited physical activity involved, attendees are asked to dress in work-out clothes and tennis shoes.
