Port Orange, FLUpdate: The female victim in Thursday's possible kidnapping at a Port Orange Shell gas station, 22-year-old Damoya Davis, has been located safe and uninjured. Port Orange Police say they are still searching for the male suspect, 32-year-old Karon Watson. Both the victim and the suspect are from Daytona Beach, and they have a child together. Earlier Reporting: The Port Orange Police Department (POPD) is investigating a possible armed kidnapping that occurred Thursday evening at the Spruce Creek Shell gas station located at 5784 Taylor Branch Rd. At around 5:55 PM on Thursday, police arrived on scene. The investigation led police to believe that a man and a woman drove to the gas station together and that the woman took several bags out of the car before going into the gas station alone. Port Orange police believe she was on the phone calling someone to come pick her up. The man she was with drove away and drove back a few minutes later to yell at her to get back in the car. When she refused, the man came into the store and forced her to leave. Outside the store, the woman began walking away but the man dragged her towards the car while she resisted and screamed at him to let her go. The man ultimately forced the woman into the car and drove away. Witnesses say that the man had a black semi-automatic pistol in the front waistband of his pants. The car the man drove off in is believed to be a white 2017 Toyota Camry with FL tag #CTI-U25.
