Police Searching For Driver Who Shot At Woman's Car In Port Orange

Port Orange, FL - Update: Port Orange police have released the name of the victim who says a man shot at her car Saturday night near Clyde Morris Blvd. and Taylor Rd.

The woman identified herself as Reily Ann Wilford.

Police are looking for the man they say shot at a woman's car on Saturday night in Port Orange.

The woman told police that she was driving near Clyde Morris Blvd. and Taylor Rd. when she got stopped at a red light. Another driver stopped near her at the traffic signal and said that he was upset that her vehicle's headlights were shining in his windows. The victim drove off, and according to police, the suspect followed her. As she turned left onto Devon St., the victim heard a popping sound.

When the victim got to a nearby friend's house she saw that her back window had been shattered, so she called the police. Investigators found a bullet and a bullet hole in the headliner.

The suspect's vehicle has been described as a small, dark-colored, older model pickup truck. Police say it may have a rear sliding glass window with a sticker on it. The suspect has been described as a white man in his mid-30's with facial hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt and a hat at the time of the shooting. Police say there was a passenger in the suspect vehicle that had a sleeve tattoo on their right arm, but it's not known if that passenger was a man or woman.
