Daytona Beach, FL-Police in Daytona Beach have charged 54-year-old Alfredo Ortiz, Jr. in the November 2001 murder of Glenna Adams in an Arlington Street apartment. Adams had a bloody nose, a lip injury, and two black eyes when she was found.
Ortiz is charged with second-degree felony murder.
The police report says the victim had told a friend she was tired of living with Ortiz and "getting beaten up".
The Medical Examiner determined the injuries to the victim had happened in two incidents. Ortiz is being held on no bond.
