Police Looking For Man Who Stole 15 TVs Worth $35K From Houligans On ISB

Daytona Beach, FL - Police are looking for the suspect who stole 15 TVs worth $35,000 and caused $14,000 in damages at Houligans on ISB.

The burglary happened on Friday, April 1 around 1:30 AM. The suspect entered the building, which is still under construction, by smashing the glass of a door on the west side of the building. The cost to replace the door was around $6,500.

Video surveillance shows the lone suspect spent over an hour pulling TVs off the wall and carrying out TVs still in their boxes.

The alarm company revealed that the system was in "test mode" during construction. Construction staff said they weren't aware of this. No alarm was called into police during the night.

The suspect stole 8 65-inch TVs valued at $20,000, 7 50-inch TVs valued at $14,000, and 8 TV wall mounts valued at $1,200. He also damaged 3 65-inch TVs valued at $7,500 and a fire exit door which cost $6,500 to replace. The total loss to the company was $49,200.

According to the police report, the video appears to show a black male over 6 feet tall. He was wearing a gray pullover hoodie. He kept the hood over his head and wore a white mask. He wore black pants that had a white patch on the rear right, and black sneakers with white trim at the heel.

The owner intends to press charges.
