Daytona Beach, FL-An incident early Thursday morning in Daytona Beach left one man with a trauma injury and police looking for another man they think was involved. Daytona Beach police went to the Sunoco at 780 South Nova Road just after 3 AM and found a woman straddling a man on the ground in the parking lot. She told police that that man was talking to another man in a black pickup truck and was on the running board when the truck took off through the parking lot. The man fell off and sustained the injury. She told police she didn't know if the victim had been run over. The victim, identified as Randie Buckley, had been talking to a black male in the truck about a "mechanic job" according to the woman. Buckley was transported to Halifax Hospital. The woman, it turned out, gave police a false name when she was first interviewed. Photos of the black male and the truck in the incident are with this article. Police want to talk to that man. If you have any information about this incident, please contact Detective David Dinardi at 386-671-5219 or dinardid@dbpd.us.
