Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed At Gunpoint After Delivery In DeLand

DeLand, FL - A pizza delivery driver told DeLand Police he was robbed at gunpoint after making a delivery at a home in DeLand. The driver had just finished his delivery to 828 Valleydale Ave. at around 9:30 PM on Wednesday.  On his way back to his car, he says two black men accosted him and demanded money. The two men fled on foot and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police. Police searched the area but were unable to find anyone that matched the suspects' descriptions. One of the men was wearing green shorts and a green towel on his head, and the other had black shorts and a white towel over his face. The investigation is onging, so DeLand police are asking for the public's help in providing any information regarding the robbery. Copyright Southern Stone Communications 2017.
