Flagler County, FL-A suspect is in custody in connection to an armed robbery at a Walgreens on Palm Coast Parkway early Tuesday morning. Flagler County Sheriff’s investigators say that the suspect may also have attempted a burglary at a pharmacy in Bunnell.

Matthew Green allegedly pointed a firearm at a pharmacist at the Walgreens around 6 A.M. Deputies say he got two bottles of prescription painkillers, fled on foot and got into a nearby vehicle. Both Green and the gun have been positively identified from the robbery. He’s also a suspect in an attempted burglary at Bunnell Pharmacy. That incident took place prior to the Walgreens robbery.
