“We had some great sponsors bowl from all over the Palm Coast community and a lot of people came to cheer us on," said Sarah Ulis, the event chair.

The 18 teams of 5 bowlers (over 120 total) that participated bowled for prizes like raffles and door prizes. Some of the teams were sponsored by Fields BMW, Grand Living Realty, Thrivent Financial Services, Hammock Décor, Landscape of Flagler and The Gardners of Washington Oaks State Park. “There was so much energy in the room we thought the roof was going to explode!” says Ulis. Through the fundraiser, $2,200 was raised in total for the Family Life Center of Flagler County. The Center, a non-profit private organization, provides free resources for families dealing with domestic abuse, such as emergency housing. Photo courtesy of Boris Medvedev and Shutterstock.com.
