Palm Coast Seeks Applicants To Fill Vacant City Council Seat

Palm Coast, FL - Applications are now open for those interested in becoming the appointee for the City of Palm Coast's District 4 City Council seat. Applicants are required to be registered voters of Flagler County, qualified electors of the City of Palm Coast, and residents of the city's District 4 for at least 45 weeks out of each year. Those interested must be able to attend regular City Commission meetings. Every month, meetings are scheduled for the:
  • First Tuesday at 6 PM
  • Third Tuesday at 9 AM
  • Last Tuesday at 9 AM (City Council Workshop)
Applications can be obtained by emailing City Clerk Virginia Smith at vsmith@palmcoastgov.com or by visiting www.palmcoastgov.com/council. Along with the application, those interested in the position must submit a letter of interest and a resume to the City Clerk's Office by noon on Wednesday, May 23. Prospective applicants should know that the position is a temporary appointment for the remainder of Council Member Steve Nobile's term, which ends in November of this year. The City of Palm Coast has no intention of appointing anyone wishing to run for City Council in the upcoming election.
