“The video series is working,” said Staly. “Our Fugitive Unit does a great job tracking down these offenders but no one knows where they are better than family members or friends. In this case, we tracked him faster thanks to the help of our community. Now he is off the streets and in jail where he belongs.” The Fugitive Friday Bingo video series airs every Friday on www.flaglersheriff.com, and on the Sheriff’s Office Facebook and YouTube accounts. Hosts Sheriff Rick Staly and Corporal Scott Wetherhold of the Fugitive Unit seek to alert the public of the most wanted fugitives in Flagler County and use social media to find and arrest the fugitives featured. According to the FCSO, almost 45% of the fugitives featured on the series since November 2017 have been apprehended. A list of the top 10 most wanted fugitives in Flagler County can be found here.
