Palm Coast, FL – A popular Palm Coast gift shop will host a fashion show to raise money for “The Sheltering Tree,” the only cold weather shelter for the homeless in Flagler County.

The fundraiser will be held at Chez Jacqueline gift shop at 25 Palm Harbor Village Way in Palm Coast. The event will take place on Wednesday, September 6 from 5 PM to 7 PM with an “overflow show” on September 7. The models will be from the First United Methodist Church in Bunnell.

“The Sheltering Tree” has helped the homeless in the area since 2008. It is staffed completely by volunteers and is dedicated to providing basic needs to the homeless while helping them make the transition to permanent affordable housing. It also prevents at-risk individuals from becoming homeless. It provides food, tents, sleeping bags, and clothing, as well as overnight facilities at Bunnell’s First United Methodist Church. The shelter also offers transportation services and support to reunite individuals with their families.

Tickets to the event are $20 each and should be purchased in advance. Tax deductible donations will be gratefully accepted. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the charity.

For reservations, call the Shelter at 386-437-3258 or Chez Jacqueline Gift Shop at 386-447-1650.
