Daytona Beach, FL - Three people were bitten by a pair of pit bulls at Tuscawilla Park in Daytona Beach on Sunday afternoon, and one of the victims had to be hospitalized for bites to his arms and legs. According to the Daytona Beach Police Department (DBPD), the pit bulls had escaped from their property. This was the second incident in less than two months involving these pit bulls. The dogs' owners were cited last month after the pit pulls reportedly cornered a man in his truck. One man who was bitten at the park was taken to Halifax Health in Daytona Beach to be treated for bite wounds. His condition is unknown at this time, according to DBPD. The pit bulls were seized from a nearby home in the 200 block of Seneca Blvd. in Daytona Beach and brought to Halifax Humane Society. The dogs are being held on a 10-day bite quarantine, which is standard procedure for these types of situations.
